Only 5% of IT specialists-Fedorov is booked in Ukraine

No more than 5% of IT specialists are booked in Ukraine. This was announced by Viceremier-Minister for Innovation, Development of Education, Science and Technology-Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov on Televahorfon.

"It's about thousands of people, but in fact it is a small proportion-no more than 5% of all IT professionals," Fedorov said. According to him, the main amounts of booking of workers are concentrated in the fields of energy, production of weapons and other sectors of critical infrastructure.

Despite the high level of digitalization of the economy, the IT sphere is not currently a priority in reservation of personnel, compared to industries that have a direct impact on the defense and energy security of the state.

Recall that by March 31, more than 23 thousand companies have confirmed their status of critical enterprises. In the future, the workers' reservation procedure will be carried out according to the updated criteria that should increase the transparency and efficiency of this process.
