At the end of November 2024, 10,454 volunteers were registered in Ukraine, according to the State Tax Service. This is 1.5 times more compared to the beginning of the year, but the growth rate this year turned out to be lower than last year.
Since the beginning of the year, the register has been replenished with approximately 3.5 thousand new volunteers. On average, about 310 people were added to the lists per month. The largest increase was noted in January and May, when the register was replenished by 548 and 533 new volunteers, respectively.
Kyiv, Kharkiv and Kyiv regions became the leaders in terms of the number of volunteers. 1.6 thousand volunteers (15.6%) are registered in Kyiv, Kharkiv region has 951 volunteers (9.1%), and Kyiv region - 896 (8.6%).
The largest increase was recorded in Rivne and Zaporizhzhia regions, where the number of volunteers increased by 1.8 times.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, 202 people have been excluded from the register, of which 127 - this year. Most of them left the list voluntarily, and only one person was removed due to death or disappearance.
However, it is important to note that registration in the official register is not the only way to help the army. More than 115,000 people open volunteer bank accounts every month, which is 30% more than last year, when about 85,000 people did it.
