TCC officers check conscripted men, including truck drivers, and issue them summonses. Law enforcement agencies and regional recruitment and social support centers have begun deployment of mobile posts in front of checkpoints across the state border of Ukraine. This became known from the statement of the European Business Association (EBA).
Employees of these institutions carry out document checks of truck drivers crossing the state border and issue summonses ordering them to appear at the TCC and SP to clarify their credentials. In addition, the border guards have expanded the zone to 5 km from the state border, where they conduct additional checks of the status of mobilized persons.
Such activity of law enforcement agencies leads to the formation of additional queues at the state border, which causes panic among employees of companies that carry out international transportation, says EVA. This complicates logistics and can cause panic among employees, which can lead to a loss of confidence of international customers and a decrease in revenues to the state budget from the payment of taxes and customs payments.
It is also difficult to ensure the booking of critical specialists or company experts. In this regard, it is important to provide for the reservation of employees who are not critically important for the functioning of the country's economy, but actively work and pay taxes. EVA urges not to adopt draft law No. 10449 on mobilization in its current version without appropriate revisions. You should also consider the possibility of an additional tool for booking employees and pay attention to the situation in front of checkpoints across the border of Ukraine.
