Over the next few days, night frosts are predicted in Ukraine, but warming will come as early as October 20-21. Natalka Didenko, a well-known forecaster, announced this on her Facebook page .
Night frosts until October 19
According to Didenko, frosts are possible at night in many regions of Ukraine until October 19-20. But after that, a sharp warming is expected. "From October 20, 21, beautiful sunny weather is expected with warming up to +13...+17 degrees," she wrote.
Another forecaster, Ihor Kibalchich, also confirmed the frost forecast and said that the weather conditions in the coming days will be affected by a powerful anticyclone, which will bring cold nights and mostly dry weather.
Weather forecast for the coming days
- October 17 : On Thursday, there will be no precipitation in most of the country, with the exception of Crimea. The temperature during the day will range from +8 to +13 °C, night frosts are possible.
- October 18 : Cloudy weather without precipitation is expected in most of the territory on Friday. Fog is possible at night and in the morning, the wind is weak (3-8 m/s). The temperature at night is from +2 to +7 °C, during the day from +8 to +13 °C. Frosts up to -3 °С are possible in the west and north.
- October 19 : Saturday will bring stable weather without precipitation, except for Crimea. The temperature at night is from +2 to +7 °C, during the day from +8 to +13 °C. Frosts of up to -3 °С are expected in the central and northern regions.
- October 20 : On Sunday, the influence of the anticyclone will continue, and the daytime temperature will rise to +9...+14 °С, in many regions night frosts up to -3 °С are possible.
Warming since October 21
According to Didenko's forecasts, after several cold nights, the temperature will gradually rise. Already from October 20-21, you can expect warming up to +13...+17 degrees, and the weather will become sunny and more comfortable.
