President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the arrival of the second batch of F-16 fighter jets provided by Denmark to fight against Russian aggressors. These aircraft are already actively used to protect Ukraine, in particular to shoot down Russian missiles, which allows saving human lives and infrastructure.
Zelenskyy emphasized that the aircraft from the first batch have already demonstrated their effectiveness, becoming an important element of the Ukrainian air shield. They assist in the destruction of missiles approaching important objects, thus reducing the threat to civilians.
The President highly appreciated Denmark's determination to support Ukraine, noting that such leadership is an example for other international partners. He also added that if all the allies were equally determined in their support, it would already be possible to significantly limit the possibilities of Russian terror.
We will remind that in November, the Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, announced that the country will transfer two more batches of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, which will allow further strengthening of Ukrainian air defense.
