After the high-profile murder of Zaporizhia City Council official Maksym Denshchyk, the city never introduced an "interception plan" for the immediate arrest of the killer.
According to eyewitness reports, immediately after the murder, all mobile checkpoints and patrols, staffed by TCC and police officers, who were conducting operational control and checking documents of male citizens, stopped working in the city for a day.
We remind you that Maksym Denshchik was shot by a killer near the entrance of his house, after a conflict with Ivan Fedorov, the head of Zaporizhzhya OVA. Shortly before the murder, Maksym Denshchyk published a post on his Facebook page , where he reported on "threats of massacre" by Ivan Fedorov.
Commenting on the situation, Ivan Fedorov said that he "held a meeting with law enforcement agencies and took the investigation of the murder under special control."
As we can see, as a result of Ivan Fedorov's so-called "meeting" with the security forces in the city, the interception plan was not introduced, which gave the killer the opportunity to leave the scene of the crime without the risk of being arrested.
