On June 9, unknown persons in a GAZ-66 truck broke through the Ukrainian-Hungarian border in Transcarpathia. This illegal crossing took place on the section of the border between the "Kosino" and "Velika Byygan" points.
Information about the border breach in Transcarpathia was provided by journalist Vitaliy Glagola, referring to sources from law enforcement agencies. According to him, traces of the car were found on the control lane, which indicated the crossing of the state border near the 225th border sign. In fact, a patrol group was immediately dispatched to search for offenders.
Video recordings from surveillance cameras confirmed that the GAZ-66 truck with black military license plates "4736 A1" was moving from the field road through the field in the direction of the state border. After checking the vehicle at the State Security Service, it turned out that the car was not intended for military use and was not registered in military units. Later, the truck was found on Hungarian territory, and all passengers left the vehicle.
Soon, information was received from the Hungarian police about the detention of 32 people near the village of Barabash. All details of this incident are currently being established.
