Vasyl Nimchenko declared the retirement of a former judge of the Constitutional Court

On June 13, a petition from 56 people's deputies was submitted to the Constitutional Court. The elected representatives, without unnecessary fuss, are asking for one delicate issue for them – to declare certain provisions of the laws on the pension provision of deputies unconstitutional. If the court agrees, then the people's deputies of previous convocations will feel "an improvement in life today" – and during the war they will receive an increase in pensions.

Among the signatories of the "pension" constitutional proposal is Vasyl Nimchenko, the record holder in the Rada of the 9th convocation for the size of his pension. Last year, he declared UAH 2.2 million in pension. In 2024, the politician will declare UAH 192.1 thousand in pension every month.

His colleague in the faction, political elder Ivan Kyrylenko, received a pension of 212.4 thousand UAH last year (or 17.7 thousand UAH per month).

Another representative of the Batkivshchyna VO, Mykhailo Volynets, had a pension of 200.1 thousand UAH per year (16.6 thousand UAH per month).

Another long-time parliamentarian, currently an elected official from the banned "Opposition Platform - For Life" (co-chairmen were Yuriy Boyko and Vadym Rabinovych), Yuriy Ioffe, declared UAH 251,100 in pension last year (UAH 20,900 per month).
