On Wednesday, July 16, a weak magnetic storm is expected on Earth. Although it does not pose a threat to appliances or health, weather -sensitive people can feel discomfort.
That scientists predict
According to the Geomagnetism portal, the level of geomagnetic activity will be the index 3, which corresponds to the low level of perturbations. However, the impact of the coronal hole in the southern hemisphere of the sun, which increased the flow of the solar wind, can be stored for several more days.
The three coronal emissions of the sun in the last day are also reported, but none of them was directed towards the Earth.
The most powerful possible geomagnetic perturbations are expected to reach only the G1 level, that is, a weak storm that usually has no serious consequences.
As magnetic storms affect people
A magnetic storm is a reaction of the Earth's magnetic field to the flow of charged particles coming from the sun. In the days of increased activity, some people may feel:
-
headache or dizziness;
-
weakness, fatigue;
-
irritability or mood swings;
-
sleep problems;
-
Exacerbation of chronic diseases.
Particularly sensitive to geomagnetic changes are considered to be people with cardiovascular disease, pregnant, summer and those who suffer from vegetative-vascular dystonia.
How to facilitate the effects of magnetic storms
-
Make sure that magnetic activity forecasts.
-
Pour over and avoid overstress.
-
Drink enough water, give up alcohol and heavy food.
-
More often in the open air.
-
Do not overload yourself with work and limit contact with toxic people or information.
Even during periods of weak magnetic storms, it is important to listen to your body, to take care of peace and not to ignore signs of fatigue.
