The closure of the branches of the National Postal Communication Operator "UkrPoshta" in the buildings of cassation courts has led to serious problems in the work of the Supreme Court of Ukraine. According to the head of the Supreme Court's apparatus Viktor Kapbinsky during the work of the Plenum of the Armed Forces on February 7, the absence of postal offices in the territory of the courts caused a violation of the terms of delivery of court cases to the highest judicial body.
Viktor Kapustinsky said that after the termination of the work of Ukrposhta branches in the courts, the employees of the cassation courts had to look for court cases in the postal offices of the capital. Delivery of a large number of cases to the Supreme Court took a month, which influenced the effectiveness of the court and slowed the consideration of important cases.
"The materials of several court cases" UkrPoshta "have lost at all," Kapustinsky added, pointing to a serious problem that needs immediate solution.
Despite the fact that the situation has improved currently, the Supreme Court continues to pay attention to the poor quality of service by Ukrposhta, which has been repeatedly criticized by the judiciary due to delay and loss of judicial materials. This issue certainly requires urgent resolution to improve the work of the judicial system and ensure the timely delivery of important documents.
