An employee of the territorial procurement center (TCC) in Lviv died while performing his duties, the prosecutor's office reported.
According to the investigation, the previous evening, a 30-year-old Lviv resident attacked a military officer during a document check. The man stabbed him with a knife and used a gas canister, after which he fled the scene.
The injured military commissar, who was an ATO veteran, was taken to the hospital with a serious injury to his femoral artery. Despite the efforts of the doctors, his life could not be saved.
The attacker was detained. Investigative actions are currently underway to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
