As a result of a night attack by Russian drones on residential buildings in the city of Sumy, three people, including a child, died. Despite the efforts of the Ukrainian air defense forces, which destroyed 25 drones, several drones hit residential areas, resulting in the deaths of civilians and the destruction of infrastructure.

On October 22, air defense systems successfully shot down 25 enemy drones in the sky over Sumy Oblast. However, enemy troops continue to shell Sumy.

In the morning, the enemy struck a residential apartment building and objects of critical infrastructure. The consequences of the morning attack are currently being clarified.

Unfortunately, as a result of night shelling that hit residential buildings in the private sector of the regional center, three people died, including one child.
