Blackouts this winter can reach more than 16 hours a day

Rumors spread that the cold weather that has come is increasing the pressure on Ukraine's energy system, which may soon begin to fail and worsen the situation in Ukraine's energy sector. Some analysts warn that increased load could lead to disruptions.

According to all forecasts, the power outage will be at best 5-6 hours a day. A more realistic forecast is 8-10 hours of no e/e. Negative is 11-15 hours, and catastrophic is more than 16 hours per day of absence of e/e.

By the way, a lot depends on the Kremlin. If Putin wants, he can easily disconnect Ukraine from the circuit breaker.
