The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, has made a prediction regarding the end of the war in Ukraine. In his interview with Magyar Nemzet , he stated that the war will end in 2025. According to him, there are only two scenarios for the development of his events: either peace agreements will be reached, or one of the pages will be completely defeated.
"Either it will end with peace talks, or one of the warring parties will be destroyed," he said in an interview with Magyar Nemzet.
According to him, in 2025, "the politics of peace will return instead of the politics of war, and we will once again have great economic success."
Earlier, the IMF assumed that the war in Ukraine would end by the end of 2025. And in the worst case scenario – until the middle of 2026.
At the same time, Trump, who is friends with Orbán, talks about the need to end the war as soon as possible through negotiations. The new US president promised that he would deal with this immediately after the inauguration.
