Two servicemen-snipers, Danylo and Kyrylo Yakovlevy, appealed to the parliament with the demand to exclude Petro Poroshenko and his political party from the parliamentary temporary special commission on fortifications.
The defenders motivate their demand by the fact that Poroshenko has no right to inspect the fortifications, because it was during his presidency that the preparation of fortifications on the border with the Russian Federation failed, and the funds allocated for this were used ineffectively.
"We ask the People's Deputies to exclude the representatives of "European Solidarity" from the TSK of the Republic of Belarus on matters of fortifications. Their presence there harms national security and defense," the soldiers of the Armed Forces write.
"It was during the presidency of Pyotr Oleksiyovych that billions of hryvnias were spent on the defense of the borders, without building, in fact, even a simple doghouse, as the gray-faced one likes to say... If you look at GoogleMaps for the period 2014-2019 in the eastern direction, of all the fortifications there, only the wall of the Boers will be visible of Yanov Although in 5 years of the reign, it was possible to build a wall from a movie about a zombie apocalypse with automatic turrets," the military emphasizes.
Danylo and Kyrylo Yakovlev also note that in the period from 2014 to 2019, it was possible to hire people in Russia who were escorted across the border from the Russian Federation along paths that no one controlled from the Ukrainian side.
"The border was so porous that powder kegs drove scrap metal from Russia with a contrabass, which was then "vaporized" to our Ukroboromprom. What prevented Poroshenko during the armistice from building fortresses from concrete and digging ditches from equipment? Instead, during Poroshenko's time, 210,000 tons of ammunition flew into the air. Svatov, Balakliya, Kalynivka, Ichnya... For comparison, during the five years of the war during Poroshenko's term of office, only about seventy thousand tons of ammunition were spent on combat operations in Donbas and various exercises," the military said.
"Mr. Poroshenko, when you start talking about new fortifications, remember: you haven't served time for the previous ones," the military emphasizes.
