People who have been fined for untimely updating of data in the TCC and have not paid the fine may have their property confiscated.
All conscript men must update their data in the TCC and follow the rules of military registration by July 16. In case of non-fulfilment of this obligation, conscripts face a fine.
If the fine is not paid within 15 days of its imposition, the next step may be confiscation of the property. In wartime conditions, this procedure is applied to those who violate the rules of military registration.
For example, the petitioner's apartment or house can be seized and sold at an online auction. The amount of the fine is deducted from the received funds, and the rest is returned to the owner.
It is worth noting that confiscation of property in Ukraine is usually not applied if the amount of the debt does not exceed UAH 160,000. In such cases, it is more likely that the bank accounts will be seized and blocked.
If the fine for failure to appear at the TCC is not paid, the conscript may be wanted and/or all of his accounts may be seized.
Criminal responsibility for evasion of mobilization is also possible in two cases: in case of systematic evasion or if a person, having passed the VLK and being recognized as fit, refuses to perform his duties. In such cases, a criminal case may be initiated under the article "Evasion of draft for military service during mobilization for a special period". The punishment under this article can be from 3 to 5 years of imprisonment, depending on the severity of the crime.
