The wife of famous singer Viktor Pavlik, blogger and businesswoman Kateryna Rep'yakhova, addressed her Instagram followers with an emotional message about the health problems of their 3-year-old son Mykhailik.
Kateryna shared that Mykhailik is facing a speech delay, which has become a big test for the family. She said that the star parents spent a lot of effort on examinations and consultations with specialists, and recently underwent genetic analysis. According to the test results, Mykhailik's speech delay turned out to be non-hereditary.
However, after receiving the results, Rep'yakhova decided to consult another specialist for confirmation. With tears in her eyes, she said that she was unable to get a consultation from the professor from the genetic center because of his busy schedule. This was a big blow for Kateryna, who is now in a state of despair and stress.
“I can’t comprehend the results of the genetic test. I’m still shocked that the professor refused in a few words… It’s very difficult for me,” she admitted.
Kateryna noted that she made an appointment with another doctor, hoping to gain more clarity about her son's condition. She also expressed doubts about the feasibility of conducting genetic testing, considering it useless and stressful for the family.
“Genetics is still a fairly young science, and there are a lot of inaccuracies. Maybe something bad will happen, maybe not. But why should I keep that in my head?” Rep'yakhova added.
