Violation of safety rules led to the death of a tractor driver in the Lviv region

A fatal road accident involving a tractor occurred in the village of Vidniv, Lviv district, on August 29. According to police, a 49-year-old local resident, driving a T-25 tractor, drove into a ditch, after which the vehicle overturned.

The man died at the scene from his injuries.

Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - violation of road safety rules, which caused the death of a person.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident and urge drivers to be careful, especially when operating agricultural machinery on the roads.
