Vitaly Shabunin received a humanitarian car for the front, but uses it in Kyiv

Vitaliy Shabunin, the head of the Anti-Corruption Center, found himself at the center of a scandal after receiving a humanitarian car for the aid front, which he currently uses to move around Kyiv.

In June 2023, Shabunin, as a serviceman of the 241st ground defense brigade, received a Nissan car from the Paladyna charity fund. According to the documents signed by the anti-corruption officer, this vehicle was supposed to be used to "perform tasks to strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities."

In September, during his annual vacation, Shabunin reportedly came from the east (where his brigade is located) to Kyiv, but Vitaliy never returned to the military unit from his vacation, but he kept the Nissan for himself.
