The authorities of Ukraine were unable to establish official contacts with Telegram management. This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting Valentyn Koval.
"In order to fine Telegram, you need to understand who it is. And, unfortunately, we know only one address in Dubai, where the headquarters of Telegram is supposedly located. And all our attempts to establish official contacts with Telegram are still unsuccessful," he said.
It should be noted that Yurchyshyn, the head of the Council's Committee on Freedom of Speech, voiced different information. According to him, at first Telegram ignored Ukraine's requests, but began to consider the SBU's request, which requires blocking 26 channels.
Earlier, Telegram blocked Ukrainian chatbots that collect information about targets for strikes on Russian troops for one day.
