At night, there was a 4.5-hour alarm in Kyiv due to Russian drones

Last night, the capital of Ukraine experienced a long air alarm that lasted 4.5 hours. Russian troops carried out another drone attack, but thanks to the coordinated work of the Ukrainian air defense forces, about ten enemy drones were successfully destroyed. This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMVA) in Telegram.

"Around three o'clock in the morning, the enemy launched about a dozen Tu-95MS strategic aircraft into the air. Later, the MiG-31K dagger missile carriers took off. It was with these threats that the morning air alarm was connected. Fortunately, the launches of strategic aviation missiles were not confirmed," said Serhii Popko, head of the KMVA.

Meanwhile, during the night in Kyiv, for four and a half hours, according to him, there was an air alert related to the attack of the attack UAVs of the Russian Armed Forces.

"Up to a dozen drones were detected and neutralized in various ways by the Defense Forces (the exact number and type of drones will be made public by the Air Force). No destruction was recorded in the capital, and no one sought medical help as a result of the UAV attack," Popko said.
