A driver who knocked a pregnant woman and children on a pedestrian crossing in the Dnieper, went on bail

In the Dnieper, a driver was released on the pledge, who knocked a pregnant woman and two children at the pedestrian crossing. The incident was on video and the man does not deny his guilt.

The woman, the eldest son and the newborn daughter are still in the hospital after serious injuries resulting from an accident. A pregnant woman, Bakhmut's migrant Anastasia Stanovskaya, in particular, was operated on premature birth, and her baby, Agnieszka, was intensive care with severe traumatic brain injury and skull fracture. Its condition remains steadily difficult, but there are positive changes.

The driver who caused the accident was detained immediately after the incident, but later released. The court chose him a pre -trial detention measure with the right to make bail. The pre -trial investigation is ongoing, and the case can be transferred to court in May this year.

As a result of the accident, Anastasia's eldest son, 8-year-old Stepan, also suffered injuries and requires long rehabilitation. His younger brother, 6-year-old Vladislav, had already returned home after treatment.

The incident has caused widespread outrage among local residents who require a fair punishment for the driver.
