Ukrainian boxer Volodymyr Klitschko received an unexpected offer to return to professional sports. Saudi functionary Turki Al al-Sheikh offered the legendary athlete to hold a championship fight at one of the big boxing nights organized in Saudi Arabia.
The head of the General Directorate of Entertainment of Saudi Arabia, Turki Al al-Sheikh, said during the WBC conference that he wants to see ex-world champion Wladimir Klitschko in the ring again.
He hopes that Klitschko will be able to fight for the championship title, probably against the winner of the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, which will take place on December 21.
During this address, the Ukrainian boxer was in the hall and listened attentively to Turki, smiling several times.
"I want to see you in the ring again, you should get a chance to win the championship belt again. Let's wait for the result of the fight between Tyson and Usyk, the result of the Dubois fight. I want to ask the WBC, IBF, WBA, WBO to give you a chance to realize this dream," said the Saudi official.
