For a long period of time, Russian troops have been actively advancing in the area of the village of Vesele in the Donetsk region, with the aim of breaking through Ukrainian defenses and reaching the city of Siversk. According to the latest data, this attack is part of a long-term pressure from the enemy on Ukrainian positions.
It is noted that the situation is becoming more complicated, as Russian forces are concentrating in the Vesely area and are actively trying to continue their offensive, in particular, along the railway east of the village. According to information from DeepState, a breakthrough was recorded by one of the Ukrainian units, which had been holding the defense for quite a long time, having exhausted its resources.
Attempts to storm the areas of Bilogorivka, Zolotarivka, and Verkhnokamyanka have also been recorded, with the aim of breaking through to the city of Siversk. Russian troops are using significant infantry forces to subdue Ukrainian military positions and are trying to dislodge them from important strategic points.
The fighting in the area is very intense, with positions changing frequently, and the Russian side using each temporary capture of a position to further advance and present it as a significant achievement.
