As a result of enemy shelling, railway tracks were damaged on the section between Mykolaiv and Kherson. As Ukrzaliznytsia reported in its Telegram channel, in connection with this, trains heading to Kherson will stop in Mykolaiv. For the convenience of passengers, transportation to Kherson will be organized by buses.
"All 78 of our passengers to Kherson will be delivered to their destination with maximum possible comfort," Ukrzaliznytsia said. This shows the desire of railway operators to ensure safety and convenience for passengers, even in difficult conditions.
Railway repair crews have already gone to the scene to carry out restoration work. "Ukrzaliznytsia" noted: "We plan to restore the railway connection before the return flight." This indicates a quick response to the incident and readiness to restore normal operation.
Later it became known that all passengers who were heading to Kherson and were forced to stop in Mykolaiv due to shelling, were successfully transferred to buses. Together with the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the railway workers ensured their transportation to the city.
