Ukrainian general Valery Zaluzhny is recommended for study in the IDF, reports the Israeli military magazine "Maarahot".
According to information received from the Israeli military magazine "Maarahot", the work of Ukrainian general Valery Zaluzhnyi is recommended for study in the IDF. This step shows recognition of the importance and value of military experience and strategic capabilities of the Ukrainian military.
The new issue of the Israel Defense Forces magazine explores his idea that the modern battlefield is so saturated with intelligence and surveillance that it makes it impossible to concentrate forces without being spotted by the enemy. Accordingly, it becomes extremely difficult to achieve the effect of suddenness and superiority in forces.
The magazine also has three articles devoted to the Ukrainian-Russian military conflict. So, one of the conclusions is that the war in Ukraine destroyed many concepts that prevailed until 2022, including the concept of a military based on recruitment and a small smart army.
The authors urge Western military theorists to be more modest in their predictions and visions of the future, as actual war shows that many predictions do not come true.
