In Ukraine, all men can be mobilized, regardless of their status. This was announced by the deputy commander of the 68th brigade with the call sign "Yavir". His words caused a wave of discussion, because we are talking about radical changes in approaches to mobilization.
"Yavir" did not hide the harsh reality:
"All the men who are at home now should get ready. It will not bypass them. Officially, according to the documents, there are no suitable ones. Soon everyone will be involved."
This statement was made against the background of constant difficulties with the implementation of the mobilization plan. As "Yavir" noted, people who do not meet the necessary physical or medical requirements often enter the ranks of the military.
Why are there problems?
According to the deputy chief of staff, the main problem is not in the military commissariats (TCC), which are forced to hire everyone, but in the medics. He emphasized that a large part of those unfit for service receive fake documents about their suitability for bribes.
"Doctors who make false documents contribute to chaos. This must be resolved," Yavir said.
At the same time, the TCC records situations when, in order to fulfill the plan, potential conscripts are told:
"Shut up, you will be fired there, we need to carry out the plan."
The statement on the involvement of all men raises serious questions about the readiness of the state to take such a step. Will there be enough resources to properly train, equip and support the mobilized? Can the mobilization system avoid chaos, corruption and injustice?
Military experts note that such radical measures may be due to the situation at the front. At the same time, analysts call for systemic changes in mobilization processes, in particular, for strengthening control over medical commissions and ensuring transparency of decisions.
