The suspect in the murder of Iryna Farion, Vyacheslav Zinchenko, refused to testify in the case, referring to Article 63 of the Constitution of Ukraine. The law allows the suspect not to testify against himself. This information was confirmed by Zinchenko's lawyer, Ihor Sulima.
Vyacheslav Zinchenko referred to Article 63 of the Constitution, according to which the suspect may not testify about himself.
Lawyer Ihor Sulima states that there is no evidence of the boy's involvement, and the evidence base is dubious.
"Here is the evidence base for you. There is no gun, no things, nothing. As for the recordings from video cameras, in my opinion, there are two different people walking there. One walks like a goblin, excuse me, like a monkey with swinging arms, and the other like an ordinary person," said Sulima.
Earlier, the investigation stated that Zinchenko specially changed his gait and clothes.
Zinchenko himself stated that he did not kill Farion.
