This is a long text, but I would ask everyone to read it. I will express my humble opinion about the patient.
We are inferior to the enemy in almost everything: manpower, ammunition, drones. Almost two years of war did not lead to a radical change in this regard. The Russians are learning from their mistakes and stealing our technological solutions. We are more creative, but they are able to scale our ideas and outnumber us.
We won on motivation, but after the unrealized plans for coffee in the Crimea, it also falls. It is clear: people are not iron, they get tired and they need perspective. When Crimea is first drawn as a perspective, and then "holding Avdiivka" is demotivating.
But failure is not a reason to fold your hands and lose heart. On the contrary, it is necessary to soberly analyze the situation and draw conclusions. We relied too much on partners, not realizing our potential. This is a mistake. But its correction is our resource that we can use.
Of course, tomorrow Ukraine will not build its own planes, it will not design analogs of Highmars. We do not have and will not have a million attack aircraft.
But to produce drones many times more than the enemy and to use them better than him is real!
One of the main tasks of our society should be how to provide 100,000 drones per month. I say society, not the state, that is why the state must also ensure this process organizationally, and society itself must implement it.
It is not enough to believe in the Armed Forces, it is necessary to effectively help them. The more drones - the more lives of our military personnel are saved, the fewer new ones are mobilized.
And most importantly, the advantage in drones will enable us to ensure that thermobar after thermobar flies into the enemy's strongholds every day. So that the orcs refused to go into position, and were forced to conduct rotations every day. So that they simply had no one to hold the front line.
We must use our (possible!) advantage in the use of high-precision weapons. But first you need to create an advantage in means. So that it was banal, what to fly. And commanders should not waste their precious time on the problem of where to get drones.
Our division buys the components itself. We resolder the UAV ourselves. But this is not only our problem! It applies to everyone. It is not the military who lose the war, but the countries.
The problem is in the organization. We are still floundering in volunteer aid. And we divide 100 drones into three brigades. And the enemy at this time puts everything that can kill us into the stream.
An engineering and analytical room somewhere in the General Staff should be the basis. All successful use cases of the latest technologies must be monitored daily across the front line, taken as a basis and scaled.
The whole country should work on priority tasks. If necessary, drone assembly rooms should be opened in both technical schools and universities. This, by the way, is also a practical education, better than theoretical textbooks.
The government should begin and end its meetings precisely on these issues - the turning points of the war.
But to begin with, this course must be approved in the head. The war should once again become a matter for the whole society, as it was in February-March 2022, and not only for the Armed Forces.
Almost every day we meet with the guys from the unit and discuss current problems.
My job as the master sergeant is to get us thinking in the right direction and to synchronize our thoughts.
How to fly around the enemy reb? How to improve intelligence? What flight tactics to use?
The correct direction of thoughts and frank formulation of the problem is the basis of success.
But this should be done not only at the level of the unit, but also at the level of the country.
I don't know if any of those who have to make decisions will read this text. Because in recent months it seems to me that we write to each other in a big bubble.
But suddenly it will affect someone, and someone will hear.
As they say: "Do what you can...".
