The High Anti-Corruption Court will spend 60 million hryvnias on new apartments for judges

The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court (SCAC) of Ukraine plans to spend 60 million hryvnias on the purchase of new apartments for its judges. This message became the topic of discussion during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy, where the head of the VAKS staff Bohdan Kryklyvenko disclosed the details of this project.

"The law guarantees housing for VAKS judges. It is necessary to take into account that the new judges of the VAKS and AP VAKS may be from different regions of Ukraine, and therefore, they will need to improve their living conditions," said Kryklyvenko.

Apartments will be purchased for 25 judges in 2025. A possible source of financing can be pledges levied by the court to a special fund.
