From May 18, Ukrainian conscripts who intend to go abroad will have to show military registration documents to border guards. Such a new norm is included in the law on strengthening mobilization, which enters into force.
They will have to show their military registration document for verification:
– reserved for the period of mobilization and wartime;
- recognized according to the conclusion of the military medical commission as unfit for military service due to their health;
- persons dependent on three or more children under the age of 18;
- who raise a child independently;
- who have a child (children) under the age of 18 and a husband (wife) who is doing military service under one of the types of military service;
- as well as other categories of persons defined in Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "On Mobilization Training and Mobilization".
Will not have to show the document:
– persons with disabilities;
- those who accompany persons with disabilities and children with disabilities;
- drivers who carry out transportation of medical goods and humanitarian aid, carry out international transportation of goods and passengers;
- certain persons in certain positions and public service, employees of railway transport enterprises and those belonging to the maritime and aviation industries, etc.
For them, the exit procedure remains unchanged.
