Men of conscript age who have a reservation from mobilization can temporarily leave Ukraine not only on a business trip but also on vacation. However, this rule is not universal - there are restrictions that depend on the position and category of public service.
This was reported by a spokesman for the State Border Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko on the air of the TV channel "We - Ukraine". According to him, booked persons are generally entitled to cross the border both for workers and for holiday purposes. But there are exceptions that provide for paragraph 2.14 of the Government Resolution No. 57.
Who will not be able to go on vacation
It is forbidden to go abroad on vacation to those booked men from 18 to 60 years of age, who hold individual state positions. If the structure in which they work has submitted relevant information to the STSU, then such employees can leave the territory of Ukraine only in the case of business trip.
Who is entitled to rest outside the country
Men who do not occupy the posts defined by a resolution can go abroad on vacation. At the same time, their documents should clearly state that the organization that issued the booking gives them the right to stay on leave outside Ukraine.
Thus, in order to decide on the possibility of departure, the border guards will consider not only the fact of booking, but also on the presence of a service or leave, as well as for a specific position of a man.
