Ukrainian infantry remained behind the occupiers in Pokrovsk, but the city is not yet fully under Russian control, war correspondent Yulia Kiriyenko-Merinova reported. According to her, units in the areas of the villages of Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, and Novopavlivka remain blocked, although Ukrainian troops have held positions there for over a year.

The correspondent emphasized that Russian troops are infiltrating the area of the village of Hryshyne and are trying to block the highway towards Pavlohrad. There, the occupiers are setting up minefields and strengthening themselves, but Ukrainian drones are constantly recording their activity. The Russian flag installed in the city has already been shot down by a drone.
Kiriyenko-Merinova noted that the enemy is trying to divide the city into two parts, and the situation in Pokrovsk and Mirnograd looks critical. At the same time, her data refutes Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement that the city has been almost completely captured.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the activity of Russian assault operations, noting that during the day Ukrainian forces stopped 55 enemy attacks. Defenses are being maintained in Pokrovsk, Myrnograd and a number of nearby settlements, including Shakhove, Dorozhne, Novopavlivka, Lysivka and Kucheriv Yar.

Ukrainian units continue to restrain the enemy's advance, controlling strategic areas and using reconnaissance means to detect the occupiers.
