The new working week in Ukraine will begin with warm weather almost throughout the country. On Monday, March 9, the air temperature in most regions will rise to +10…+13 degrees. In the west of the country, thermometers may show up to +16 degrees, while in the northeast it will remain cooler — about +5…+9 degrees. Forecasters do not predict precipitation.
Partly cloudy weather is expected in Kyiv today. The air temperature will be around -2 degrees at night, and warm up to +12 during the day.
It will be much warmer in the west of the country. In Lviv, Lutsk and Uzhhorod, daytime temperatures are forecast to reach +15…+16 degrees, in Rivne, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi — around +13 degrees. In most cities of the region, the temperature will drop to -3 degrees at night.
Spring warmth is also expected in the central part of the country. In Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Kropyvnytskyi, the daytime temperature will be around +13 degrees, in Zhytomyr - up to +13, and in Poltava - around +9.
Similar temperatures are forecast in the south of the country. In Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson, the air will warm up to +13 degrees during the day, and in Zaporizhia — to +11.
The coldest will remain in the northeast. In Sumy and Kharkiv, the daytime temperature will rise only to +7 degrees. In Dnipro, forecasters predict about +11.
Relatively cool weather is also expected in eastern Ukraine. In Kramatorsk, the daytime temperature will be around +10 degrees, and in Severodonetsk, it will be up to +8.
Forecasters predict cloudy weather in Crimea. In Simferopol, the temperature will be approximately -1…+13 degrees.
