The National Anti-Corruption Bureau searched the car of the former deputy head of the President's Office, Kyryll Tymoshenko. These investigative actions are related to the case of the downpours of the "Great Construction" investigation.
We have at our disposal exclusive photos from the scene of the event, taken in Kyiv near the "Ishak" restaurant on Klovsky Uzvoz.
At the moment, there are no official comments on the searches. NABU also noted that Kyril Tymoshenko was not detained, but that investigative actions are underway.
Later, the ex-official himself confirmed the fact of the searches and wrote in his Telegram channel that the law enforcement officers have no complaints against him.
"The sensation is cancelled! I confirm that I was searched in a case that I have nothing to do with. I fulfilled all the requirements of the law enforcement officers, I have no personal complaints," Tymoshenko wrote. Later, a video appeared in which Kyrylo Tymoshenko commented on the information about the searches.
"I calmly handed over the phone, I didn't throw it away, I didn't beat it. I said, "Please take it, there are no questions," he said.
On January 23, 2023, Kyrylo Tymoshenko submitted an application for dismissal from the post of deputy head of the OPU. He did not specify the reason, only thanked the president for "the opportunity to do good deeds". The next day, January 24, Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed a decree dismissing Kyril Tymoshenko from his post.
