The weather forecast for March 1 and 2, 2025 in Ukraine promises a variety of climatic conditions, in particular, precipitation in the form of snow, sleet, rain, as well as fog and sleet is expected. No significant precipitation is expected in the central regions on March 1, only light snow is possible in some areas of Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions. The temperature will warm up to 0°C to +5°C during the day.
There will also be no heavy precipitation in the south of the country, but rain with sleet is possible in the Odessa region. During the day, the temperature will range from +2°C to +7°C.
Eastern Ukraine will remain cool and dry, with temperatures ranging from -4°C to +1°C during the day, and there may also be ice on the roads.
March 2:
The weather is expected to worsen in the western regions, with snow, sleet and rain, especially in the Carpathians, where moderate snowfall is possible. The temperature at night will be from -3°C to +2°C, and during the day it will drop to -1°C to +4°C.
In the north of Ukraine there will be snow and sleet, during the day the snow will turn into rain. At night frost is expected from 0°C to -5°C, and during the day the temperature will be within +1°C to +6°C.
In the central regions, light snow is also possible at night, but there will be no precipitation during the day. Temperatures at night from 0°C to -5°C, during the day from +1°C to +6°C.
Rain with sleet in the south, moderate precipitation in the Odessa region. Nighttime temperature from -3°C to +2°C, daytime +2°C to +7°C.
Eastern regions of Ukraine will remain without precipitation, with cloudy weather, with clearings. Frosts are expected at night from -6°C to -11°C, during the day the temperature will vary from -2°C to +3°C.
Forecast for March:
According to forecaster Igor Kibalchych, in general, March this year will be warm with little precipitation, while in the west and south the temperature will be 1-2 degrees higher than normal. However, in the north of the Left Bank and in the east of Ukraine, cool weather will still remain.
