On Thursday, August 28, Ukraine is expected to experience a real summer heatwave. According to weather forecasters, the air temperature will rise sharply, and the sky will remain mostly clear and cloudless.
The highest temperatures will be recorded in the southern regions - there the thermometer will reach +30°. In most regions, daytime temperatures are expected to be from +25° to +29°, while in the northeast it will be a little cooler - about +23…+24°. No precipitation is forecast, so the day promises to be dry and sunny.
In Kyiv, the weather will be comfortable: at night the temperature will be +12°, and during the day it will rise to +27°. The western regions will also delight with warmth and sun - in Lviv during the day +28° is expected, in Ivano-Frankivsk +29°, in Uzhhorod - up to +30°.
In the north of the country, the situation is somewhat different: in Chernihiv, the thermometer will stop at +24°, in Sumy - +23°. In the center and east, it will be warmer: in Dnipro during the day +27°, in Kropyvnytskyi +29°, in Kharkiv +24°.
Southern cities will remain the hottest: in Odessa during the day +25°, in Mykolaiv and Kherson — up to +30°, in Zaporizhia — +29°. Crimea will also get its share of August sun: in Simferopol, +28° is predicted.
Thus, the last days of summer will bring Ukrainians a real feeling of warmth. Clear skies and rising temperatures will create favorable conditions for both recreation and work.
