The upcoming Sunday in Ukraine promises to be hot like summer. According to the forecasts of the Ukrhydrometeorological Center, on July 6, dry and sunny weather will prevail in all regions of the country, and the air temperature in some areas will reach +33°C.
During the day, the sky will be clear or partly cloudy, without precipitation. The hottest part will be in the southern regions and Transcarpathia, where the temperature will remain at +30…+33°C. It will be somewhat cooler in the northeast, where the thermometer will show +21…+26°C.
Nighttime temperatures will fluctuate within +11…+16°C, and in the southern regions it will be warmer — up to +20°C. Atmospheric pressure will remain stable, and the wind will be weak — 3–8 m/s, with variable directions.
The hottest regional centers are Odesa, Kherson, Uzhhorod, Mykolaiv and Simferopol. In these cities, the temperature will reach its maximum. Kyiv and the central regions will also fall into the heat zone - +28…+30°C is expected here. In northern cities, such as Sumy, Chernihiv and Kharkiv, it will be a little cooler.
Meteorologists note that this weather will continue at the beginning of next week, but starting July 9, a slight decrease in temperature is predicted in the western and northern regions.
Doctors and rescuers remind: on hot days it is important to drink plenty of water, avoid being in the open sun from 12:00 to 16:00, wear light clothing made of natural fabrics, and stay in the shade or in air-conditioned rooms if possible.
