Frosty weather in Ukraine will persist on Monday, February 18, forecaster Natalka Didenko reported. According to her, the coming night will be very cold, with temperatures from -10 to -15 degrees, and in the east and northeast the temperature will drop to -12…-19 degrees.
"On Tuesday afternoon, the frost will ease to -1...-6 degrees," the weather forecaster predicted, adding that precipitation is unlikely in Ukraine on February 18.
It will also be cold in Kyiv: at night the temperature will drop to -12…-14 degrees, and during the day the temperature in the capital is expected to be within -2…-4 degrees. Forecasters predict that it will be dry in Kyiv.
According to Igor Kibalchych's forecast, an unusually cold snap will continue in Ukraine this week, with temperatures 5-8 degrees below normal. Slight snowfall is possible throughout the week, although precipitation is likely to be insignificant.
Particular attention should be paid to the night of February 18, when the temperature in some regions will drop to -14°…-19°, and in some areas even to -21°. During the day, the temperature in most regions will be within -2°…-7°.
