Today, May 25, a sharp weather contrast is expected in Ukraine: while some regions will freeze at +11°, others will experience real summer heat up to +31°. According to UNIAN, rains, showers and thunderstorms are forecast for most of the country.
Western Ukraine
It will be the coldest here. The daytime temperature will be only +11°…+14°, in Transcarpathia and Volyn region — up to +17°. A cloudy day with thunderstorms is forecast.
Northern Ukraine
Mostly cloudy with rain. In Zhytomyr region — up to +14°, in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions — +19°…+21°. The exception is Sumy region, where up to +27° and more sunshine are forecast.
Eastern Ukraine
It will be a real summer here. It will be clear, dry, and the air temperature will rise to +28°…+30°.
Center of Ukraine
The heat will be distributed unevenly. In Vinnytsia region - cool and rainy, temperature up to +14°. In Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy and Kirovohrad regions - up to +26°...+29° with the possibility of precipitation and thunderstorms.
Southern Ukraine
The weather is truly summer: dry and hot. In Odessa and on the coast, it is a little cooler, up to +20°, rain is possible. In Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia and Crimea, it is up to +31°.
