At the end of summer, Ukraine will be marked by an increase in precipitation, especially in the third decade of August. This was reported by forecaster of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center Nataliya Ptuha.
According to Ptukha, the amount of precipitation will increase in August, and by the end of the month the rains will become more frequent. This is especially true during the last ten days of summer, when the weather will be more rainy.
During the current week, dry weather will prevail in Ukraine thanks to an anticyclone extending from Scandinavia to the Black Sea. Only in some regions, where the anticyclone will not have a significant impact, minor rains are possible. In particular, on August 13-14, rains are expected in Sumy Oblast and Chernihiv Oblast, and on August 15-16 — in the Carpathians and Transcarpathia.
Weather forecast for the coming days:
- Temperature: At night the temperature will drop to +10°...+16°, during the day the thermometers will show +20°...+27°. In the southern regions and Transcarpathia, the temperature will be higher at night, from +13° to +18°, and during the day - from +25° to +31°. On the coast of the seas, the daytime temperature will reach up to +31°.
- Wind: North-west wind at a speed of 5-10 m/s is expected.
In general, this week promises to be calm, with moderate temperature fluctuations. However, already at the end of August, Ukrainians can expect an increase in precipitation, which will bring with it a change in weather conditions.
