On Wednesday, January 28, a thaw is expected across Ukraine. The air temperature in most regions will rise to zero and above, and in the south of the country, the thermometer will reach +4...+7 degrees. In Crimea, real spring warmth is predicted - up to +11°.
The day will be mostly cloudy. Precipitation in the form of wet snow with rain is expected in most regions. Only the southeast of the country will remain without significant precipitation.
It will be cloudy in Kyiv during the day. The temperature will drop to -5° at night, and rise to -1° during the day. Light sleet and rain are forecast.
A thaw will also prevail in the western regions. In Lviv, Rivne, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi, the temperature at night will fluctuate around -3°, during the day the air will warm up to +2°. Cloudy weather with light precipitation is expected. In Uzhhorod it will be slightly warmer: up to +3° during the day.
In the central regions, night temperatures will be around -3°, during the day - from +2° to +3°. Such weather is forecast in Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy and Kropyvnytskyi. In Poltava, it will be up to -6° at night, during the day - up to +2°, with wet snow and rain.
In the north of the country, colder nights will persist. In Chernihiv and Sumy, the temperature will drop to -7…-9° at night, but rise to +2° during the day. In Kharkiv, temperatures are forecast to drop to -9° at night and around -2° during the day.
The most comfortable temperature will be established in the south of Ukraine. In Odessa it will be about +1° at night, up to +7° during the day, light rain is expected. In Mykolaiv and Kherson the air will warm up to +6…+7°, in Zaporizhia up to +6°.
In the east of the country, precipitation will be minimal. In Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk, light cloudiness is forecast, night frosts down to -6…-8° and daytime temperatures around +1…+2°.
In Crimea, the weather forecast will be the warmest: in Simferopol, the temperature will range from +2° at night to +11° during the day.
