The international community celebrates Translator's Day and Copywriter's Day. In Europe, this day is celebrated as Boys' Day, and in different countries - Recovery Day (Canada), Koala Protection Day (Australia), Independence Day (Botswana), and Secretary's Day (Venezuela).
Folk omens.
Our ancestors believed that cranes and storks that had already flown away foreshadowed frosts, and rain on this day meant a snowy December. A cloudy sky promised a drop in temperature. On this day, people traditionally cleaned, washed bedding, prepared for winter, and visited a bathhouse or swam in springs.
