From January 25 to 31, 95 thousand procurement notices for a total amount of UAH 35.99 billion were published in the Prozorro system. The leader among large contracts last week was Interpipe Ukraine LLC, which concluded an agreement for UAH 2.60 billion for the supply of pipes for Ukrgazvydobuvannya.
Since the emergence of Prozorro in 2025, Interpipe has received pipe contracts from Ukrgazvydobuvannya worth UAH 40.21 billion, which is about 80% of the state-owned company's total pipe purchases.
Of particular note is the absence of Chinese competitors in major tenders. The last time UGV signed a contract with the Chinese supplier Vorex for UAH 21 million was last summer. After that, Interpipe received significant orders worth over UAH 5 billion.
In the last tender, cheaper competitors were rejected for various reasons. LLC "Naftoservice" did not provide tender offer security. The American company "Liberty Tool International", which offered Chinese pipes, indicated an import duty rate of 0%, while in reality an anti-dumping duty of 51.52% was applied. "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" recognized this information as false and rejected the offer, leaving the domestic manufacturer as the winner.
Thus, Interpipe, under the leadership of Victor Pinchuk, continues to dominate the state-owned company's pipe procurement market, and competitors from abroad have almost no chance of winning large contracts.
