Ukraine is experiencing a decline in mobilization rates, and one of the key factors in this phenomenon is the increase in the number of citizens who have received reservations from military service. Experts note that such a trend may negatively affect the mobilization capabilities of the state in the context of the ongoing conflict.
Along with this, pressing issues remain unresolved - demobilization and service terms, as well as mass cases of unauthorized abandonment of units.
Regarding aspects of how to increase the pace of mobilization, experts point out three points worth paying attention to:
-respect for military personnel should be "not in words, but in deeds";
-intolerance to draft evaders;
-material and other preferences for military personnel who are serving.
Regarding the latter, experts note that many soldiers currently spend a significant portion of their salaries on supporting their units, rather than on their own needs.
