What to do when you have a headache and there is no medicine

Sometimes it happens that a severe headache comes on suddenly, and there are no pills at hand. Don't worry - there are several simple and proven ways that will help you quickly get rid of the discomfort without medication.

One of the effective methods is to practice in front of a mirror. To do this, you should relax your facial muscles: quickly raise your right and left eyebrows, and then both at the same time. It is also recommended to close your eyes and slowly look to the right and left. Use your fingers to gently press on your eyebrows and move them towards the bridge of your nose. After each exercise, take a few seconds of rest so that the muscles can rest.

Another way is acupressure. Massage your temples, paying attention to the painful areas - they are reflexogenic zones. This will improve blood circulation and help relieve pain. Similarly, massage the bridge of the nose, which also alleviates the condition.

Eye massage also helps. Close your eyes and gently massage your fingers in a clockwise and then counterclockwise circular motion. This simple procedure will reduce pain in as little as 5 minutes.

Warm foot baths are useful for relieving headaches at home. Soak your feet in moderately hot water - this will distract from the pain, and the blood will start to flow from the head to the feet, which will alleviate the condition. However, this method is not suitable for people with high blood pressure.

You can also do a light neck massage or perform simple exercises, especially if the pain is related to osteochondrosis. Alternating tilting your head to your shoulders, throwing your head back, and pressing your chin to your chest will help relax the neck muscles.

Another simple method is to rub your ears. Rub your hands together to warm them up, place them over your ears, and then gently pull them in different directions. This stimulates blood circulation and helps relieve headaches.

These simple tips will help you quickly relieve pain and improve your well-being without medication.
