On Sunday, December 8, Ukrainians will have to adapt to changeable winter weather. According to forecaster Natalka Didenko, the day will be cloudy and windy, but without a serious cold snap yet.
In most regions, the daytime temperature will be +1…+5°C. It will be warmer in the south, where +4…+9°C is forecast, and in Crimea even up to +10…+15°C.
The atmospheric front will bring rain to the western regions, with occasional light precipitation affecting the northern regions, Vinnytsia and Odessa regions. The rest of the territory will remain without significant precipitation.
However, the southeast wind will be quite gusty and may cause discomfort. Its speed will reach 5-12 m/s.
Rain is possible in the capital at night and in the morning, which will stop by noon. The air temperature in Kyiv will reach +3°C. The wind will also be gusty, from the southeast.
According to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, in the coming days, Ukrainians will experience precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain, in places ice and sleet. The temperature will remain quite high for December: during the day +0…+5°C, in the south up to +11°C, and in Crimea up to +16°C.
A noticeable cold snap is forecast from December 13-14, so for now, it's worth enjoying a relatively mild winter.
