As our sources report, the deputies are refusing to vote for the 2026 Budget because their personal wishes in the context of the "upcoming elections" and the claims of the Arakhamia group to expand their influence on the Cabinet of Ministers are not taken into account.
In particular, according to the source, several groups of deputies within the Servants stated that their regional wishes were not taken into account, as the government stated that "the sources of budget funding without international assistance are incomprehensible."
At the same time, as the source notes, this does not entirely correspond to reality: “within the framework of a limited budget and reformatting on the eve of possible elections, the President’s Office vertical wants to close all flows to itself as much as possible, and they plan to break the resistance of the disgraced people’s deputies using the same methods as the attempt to remove Andriy Yermak.”
The second factor influencing the delay in the budget vote is the claims of the so-called "Arakhamia group" to expand its influence on the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to the source, Arakhamia's group insists on replacing a number of ministers with "their own people." In particular, this concerns the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Energy.
As a reminder, the head of the parliamentary budget committee, Roksolana Pidlasa, stated that the Verkhovna Rada will consider the draft law on the 2026 state budget in the second reading and as a whole on December 2.
