Yesterday, September 25, the Pension Fund of Ukraine announced the completion of financing pension payments for September 2024. A total of UAH 62.9 billion was allocated for pensions. Of this amount, UAH 9.6 billion was paid through JSC Ukrposhta, and another UAH 53.3 billion through authorized banks.
Other payments and financial indicators
In addition to pensions, the fund also financed other social benefits:
- UAH 1,420.5 million has been allocated for the payment of housing subsidies and benefits.
- UAH 2,596.8 million was allocated for insurance payments, of which UAH 1,422.5 million was allocated for sick leave.
Dynamics of pension financing
In August, more funds were allocated for pensions — 63.5 billion hryvnias, and in July the amount was 62.4 billion hryvnias. Monthly pension funding has been steadily increasing since spring 2024: in April — 60.5 billion, and in May — 60.9 billion hryvnias.
Recall that the government is preparing a comprehensive pension reform, and another indexation of pensions is planned for March 2025.
