Winter continues to surprise Ukrainians with atypical weather conditions. On January 29, warm, almost spring-like weather will prevail throughout the country, with temperatures up to +15° in the south and east. Despite light cloud cover, it will be dry in most regions, with rain possible only in the west.
What to expect in the regions?
Kyiv – partly cloudy, temperature at night +5°, during the day +7°.
Western Ukraine :
Lviv, Lutsk, Rivne, Ternopil – up to +12°, rain in places.
Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Uzhhorod – from +8° to +14°, mostly dry.
Central Ukraine : Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy, Poltava, Kropyvnytskyi – +7°…+10°, cloudy, without significant precipitation.
South of Ukraine : Odessa, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia – up to +11°, partly cloudy.
East of Ukraine : Kharkiv, Dnipro, Sumy, Kramatorsk, Severodonetsk – from +7° to +9°, partly clear.
Crimea : Simferopol – from +5° at night to +15° during the day, slightly cloudy.
Such warming may be a temporary phenomenon, and forecasters predict a decrease in temperatures as early as February. However, for now, Ukrainians can enjoy a mild winter that is more like an early spring.
